Hmmm. FreeBSD's PAM isn't a happy camper, it seems.

I just had a quick glance at login.c + libpam FreeBSD sources, and
they seem sine.  Odd, odd, odd.

Well.  Unless there are any takers, it will have to wait until my
relocation is complete.  I'll install FreeBSD on one of my boxes, when
I put my foot on Canadian soil...
