More XDMCP problems.

I run gdm (ver. 2.0beta2) on thing.stud.ies.auc.dk (RH6.2).
When I try to connect from hvil.stud.ies.auc.dk with
X -indirect thing
I get a loginscreen instead of the hostchooser I expected.

I believe that I have configured the [xdmcp] section correctly. Have I
missed something? 

I have included the following files:
/etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf
/var/log/daemons  (from syslogd, daemons.debug)

/etc/hosts.allow, /etc/hosts.deny and /var/gdm/hvil*.log are all empty.
