[gDesklets] Problem with Float Mode

Hi,

I just installed gDesklets in Kubuntu 6.01 and was able to fire up 
several desklets. I am running with KDE. However, I am having difficulty 
with float mode.   It is configured to use SHIFT+F12, but hitting F12 
while SHIFT is depressed does nothing.  If I can't see the desklets, 
then they aren't  that useful. 

I would appreciate any suggest for getting my desklets to float.
