[gDesklets] learning to develop

Have been reading through the develbook to make a start but have hit a 
hurdle. Followed the tutorial but section 10.2  doesn't say how to 
actually run the hello.display file. It has the gdesklets icon but 
nothing I can find in the book helps. I would appreciate anyone helping 
me as I am relatively new to this but can follow the rest of the 
tutorial alright - just can't get the examples to work as described.
