You should still be able to log in. Maybe not graphically but at least
on the TTY.

What do you mean exactly with you cannot use commands like sudo or dpkg?

What operating system are you using, and what version of it.

Debian 6.0 AMD 64

What appears in the user.* syslog (see above for how to turn on user.*
syslog).

I cant see it


Can you help me installing back gconf and to get my Desktop
