Well, at first thanks for your tipp. Unfortunately importing my
evolution settings didn't work via
$ cp -ax gconf_old/apps/evolution .gconf/apps 
and 
$ rm -r .gconf/apps/panel
did not solve my problem.

I guess that, for evolution, there are some additional dirs and or files
wich should be copied too, but i wasn't able to find them for now.
