Funny, I was going to ask for that, since schema values might change
when upgrading a package and people are forced to kill gconfd to get it
right (which is not optimal for newbies, or even experts which don't
know a thing to gconfd)..

Maybe handling a signal to cause gconfd to re-read disk database could
do the trick (with --makefile-install-rule sending zillions of such
signal to all gconfd running on the system..). Maybe it is a bad idea
too.. :)
