Greetings,
I hope someone can help me. I recently upgraded my IBM X30 laptop from
RH9 to Fedora 1.0. The upgrade from Gnome 2.2 to 2.4 seems to have
created some anomalies that I can't fix. In particular:
When I try to change the keyboard rate, I get:
Type mismatch: Expected `int' got `float' for key
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/delay
I have tried editing the appropriate file in the ~/.gconf directory.
I've tried using the Gconf editor. Also, looked in /etc/gconf. No
luck. Obviously I don't understand Gconf well. Any illumination would
be very welcome.
Also, I can't seem to produce a Window List in the menu bar. Window
Menu works fine but not Window List. Finally, Alt Tab as an application
switcher has stopped working. I realise some of these may go beyond
gconf but any help would be gratefully received.
TIA... Steve
