Lock NFS ?

Hello

My home partitions are exported via NFS, and i want use galeon.

So as the FAQ said i must lock my file system.

In the /etc/fstab's client, i put "lock" in the options of the NFS 
partition. Lockd run.

But for the server, what i must do ? The process lockd doesn't run, and 
if i try to type
# rpc.lockd
He doesn't want to want (no error but exit imediatly).
