Sahid,

Avahi can be built without python support:

(1) cd to freedesktop/avahi
(2) edit the GAR Makefile
at the bottom of the file add:

CONFIGURE_ARGS += --disable-python

(3) make cookieclean
(4) make 

When you get the time you should connect to the GARNOME IRC channel.
There is usually someone on line who can help you.
