GARNOME | general | Ver: 2.13.x
Summary: gst-plugins-ugly requests bootstrap/libmap
Product: GARNOME
Version: 2.13.x
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: general
AssignedTo: garnome-maint gnome bugs
ReportedBy: aawartner gmail com
QAContact: garnome-list gnome org
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Please describe the problem:
The Makefile for gst-plugins-ugly requests bootstrap/libmap, which does not
exist. The other requirement, bootstrap/libid3tag, does not exist. I'm
assuming libmap should be libmad.
Steps to reproduce:
1. cd garnome-2.13.92/geektoys/gst-plugins-ugly
2. make install
Actual results:
Compilation halts when bootstrap/libmap is not found.
Expected results:
Compilation will identify the library headers and fall back to bootstrap if
they
do not exist. In this case the libraries in bootstrap will be built before
gst-plugins-ugly.
Does this happen every time?
Yes
