RE: I cannot compile fontconfig

Thanks a lot for your pointers. You were spot on, you just hit the nail
there!!

>From your analysis, it became clear that it had to be one of the
docbook-dtds packages.. I also realized from the error message you had
highlighted below that it was looking for DTD V4.1.. While I had V4.1.2
(which apparently, isnt very backward compatible!)

So, I just installed a docbook-dtd41 package.. Fired the make again...
and things seem to be going further!!
