Re: freedesktop/desktop-file-utils: update-desktop-database problem



You are correct... [as usual :-)]

The patched Makefile fixes the broken post-install target but does not
address the larger issue of updating the desktop cache *after*
everything is built.

Yet another reason for a "post install" section in the README.
