Well, user 81 is dbus...hrmmm. I didn't realize that you had already
tried that.

You might want to try upgrading a few things.

I'm running:

dbus-0.50 (GARNOME)
hal-0.5.4 (GARNOME)
udev-063

My udev rpm for FC4 is here:

http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~bobk/fc4/

Just remember to reboot after updating udev. :)
