Well, I haven't even tried printing FWIW. ;) The fact is: Building Gimp
failed for me too, due to missing gimpprint-devel packages. As a first
workaround I explicitly disabled printing in Gimp, adding
--disable-print to Gimp Makefile CONFIGURE_ARGS.

Once I installed gimpprint-devel (as provided by my distro), Gimp built
fine without complaining and enabled printing.

So this likely just is a missing dependency issue as usual.

Mono is not part of GNOME. ;) Please feel free to report 64 bit issue
with mono to them.

Don't have access to any 64 bit machine -- but a friend of mine (LFS,
not using GARNOME) reported the same issue: A 64 bit built Mozilla /
Firefox does not work with pre-compiled 32 it plugins. This sure is an
upstream issue...
