GARNOME Weekly Snapshot Build: 20050630 ======================================= I've just released 20050630.2240, which incorporates a number of version bumps for the stable series, and gets progressively more hairy in the unstable one. Specifically, the 2.11 branch now includes GTK+ 2.7.0 by default. This could be a very short-lived change, depending on how it effects the GARNOME userbase. If you happen to try this version, please read: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306216 and, if you can -- attach screenshots and me-too's if you happen to see artifacts all over your desktop. Aside from this and version bumps, this release includes: * a patch that might make control-center compile properly again (b.g.o #308121) (me) * the bootstrap/ directory has been split up and parts have been reworked into a new freedesktop/ directory (me) * numerous patches in the mono/ directory to get gtkhtml to link correctly (Joseph) * Firefox might compile on GCC 4.x now (Stef) * Sound Juicer will probably do the right thing again :) Again, the tarballs are marked as GARNOME-$(majorversion)-$(date).$(time) and can be downloaded from: Stable: ftp://cipherfunk.org/pub/tarballs/garnome/v2.10/snapshots/ Unstable: ftp://cipherfunk.org/pub/tarballs/garnome/v2.11/snapshots/ Any questions, ping me on IRC (funkmeister) or join the GARNOME mailing list. Paul
