This is correct, but:
1) consider using mult-user environment (like at my home computer). EVERY user
needs to run gst-register (and have old process killed, off course)
2) how about putting gst-register into start script of Garnome? Didn't try it,
but I've played with this in my head. Maybe if we can detect that we need to
run gst-register, we can run it conditionally...
