what is dbus-glib-1 and hal and "pci.ids"?

Hi all:
	I m trying garnome-2.8.2.1 after LFS6.0 and xorg Lastest version.

	It is fail when compile gnome-volume-manager-1.0.2 because of missing dbus-glib-1 and hal.

	what are these?

	I download dbus 0.22 and hal 0.4.3

	but when compile hal 0.4.3, it is fail because of missing "pci.ids"

		checking for /usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids... no
		checking for /usr/share/misc/pci.ids... no
		checking for /usr/share/pci.ids... no
		configure: error: cannot find pci.ids. Use --with-hwdata to specify location

	what's this and where to find it?
