I had a cleanly unpacked workspace (/ita/gar65), with no real changes
to gar.conf.mk; I use a master Makefile to automate those bits, which
built 2.12.2 without a whisper.

Can you mail me a 'healthy' config.log for firefox ? I'll try and see
where mine is falling down.
