This are the changes we talked about yesterday? By a first quick check,
Evolution 1.5.7 runs fine now. :)

Doh! My bad. It helps scrolling way up and reading carefully. Installing
a (presumably) pretty old gdk-pixbuf devel package fixed this issue.

Unfortunately the missing gdk-pixbuf/gdk-pixbuf.h was not reported
during configure and thus compiling failed with a lot of strange error
messages and even parsing errors.

gDesklets compile fine but don't run for me. I will check further.

Yay! for stable and up to date Gnome Desktop. :)  Thanks Paul.

And thanks to Jeff (for the the work the stable tree depends on) and Bob
for the arch howto [1], which enabled me to get my hands on this.
