Can you try upgrading xine-lib in fifth-toe to rc4 (tarball attached,
just extract the files into the fifth-toe directory) and let me know if
the error is still the same, as I can't reproduce this one with any of
the optimisations on GCC 3.2.2, 3.2.3 or 2.95.4.
