If you edit the Makefile in the libxklavier directory and change the
CONFIGURE_ARGS line from:
CONFIGURE_ARGS = $(DIRPATHS)
to:
CONFIGURE_ARGS = $(DIRPATHS) --with-xkb-base=/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb
and then run 'make clean' and 'make install' again, does it compile
properly?
