gnome-speech not locating speech drivers

Hello,

I just build gnome from garnome-0.29.1 on fedora core 1.

I tested gnome-speech by using the test-speech program from my garnome build, and it is not locating any speech drivers.

I have festival and dectalk drivers installed. The dectalk drivers are on my ld_library path since I can run the "say" program that ships with the driver.

Any suggestions appreciated
