garnome-2.8.2::evolution-webcal-2.1.1::dependency problem

While running garnome-2.8.2 on a PowerMac running YDL-4.0 [a fedora core2 clone],
I discovered that evolution-webcal-2.1.1 requires libecal-1.2:

                                 ...
        Package libecal-1.2 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
        Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libecal-1.2.pc'
        to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
                                 ...

garnome-2.8.2 installs evolution-dataserver-1.0.3, which builds
libecal-1.0.3

I modified the make file for evolution-dataserver to build version
1.1.1, edited the checksum file and rolled on...
