Re: GAR-2.7.4-test - problem with Mime types?



Stef,

Actually, the problem I was having got solved (to a degree) by running
some command to update the mime-types.

With the move to gnome-vfs-2.7.4 they changed the mime-type stuff and
it's now using something in the .desktop file.  However, many
applications still need to get up to speed with this so many
associations don't appear.

As usual, I'm not a wealth of information and can't remember what the
command to run is.

I'll see if it comes to me soon.
