first, please check Makefile from libart_lgpl. Paste it here. Maybe
you've altered it(?)

config.log is in the work/main.d/xxx/ directory. In your case:

garnomedir/platform/libart_lgpl/work/main.d/libart_lgpl-2.3.16/config.log
