Hello all,
I have successfully built GNOME 2.6. beta (2.5.92) on Solaris. Yesterday I've
altered Makefiles to build 2.6.0. What a surprise - it won't compile now.
There are some problems in:
esound-0.2.34 (0.2.32 is fine)
librsvg + libcroco (older librsvg from Beta is fine)
The gcc-3.3.2/sun linker reports an error about "undefined symbol main". Very
bad thing.
I have resolved those two bugs by downgrading the package versions to make it
compile. It's compiling overnight, I'll see tomorrow where the build stops
next time.
Anybody with the same problem on solaris? Or the "undefined symbol main" on
any platform?
I just don't get it - the 2.6.0 should be just more stable than 2.5.92,
shouldn't it?
Regards,
VIX
