Re: checking for GTK+ - version >= 2.3.0... no, garnome 2.5.92 fails to compile on Fedora Core 1



Hi,
                                                      
                                   
the solution turned out to be a complete recreation of
the garnome directory
and rebuild, after a machine reboot.
                                                      
                                   
I guess since i installed a lot of missing packages
(mainly *-devel), the
garnome installation process was using the wrong
libs...
                                                      
                                   
I checked the paths for PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH and
PKG_CONFIG_PATH in gar.conf.mk and they were right.
(garnome ones first). Also
i didn't have to uninstall the Gnome Software
Development packages from the
initial install of FC1. (I hope it works OK 8)
I'll continue with the install process.
