Garnome general questions...

I successfully compiled Garnome-2.5.92 on my Fedora Core 1 system. I've
als downloaded the 2.6.0 sources. Can Garnome-2.5.92 be used to compile
Gnome-2.6.0 successfully or should I just play with what I have until
Garnome-2.6.0 comes out?
