how to recheckout a package?

Hi! 
 
My garnome build directory is  /tmp/garnome-0.27.1 and as I encountered
problems 
compiling module gnome-speech I deleted recursively the directory 
/tmp/garnome-0.27.1/gnome/gnome-speech. If I do a "make install" in 
/tmp/garnome-0.27.1/meta/gnome-desktop the build system doesn't understand
that it 
schould refetch the gnome-speech package an create the corresponding
directories and 
checksum files. 
 
How can I have them created?
