Re: compiling Garnome 0.26.1 on a Debian Sarge distribution

Here are the problems when installing gnome-power-tools:

- in gnome-vfs-sftp, the www.math.waterloo.ca does not answer, and I
  cannot find the source of this package elsewhere;

- in grandr-applet, the configure fails for the following reason:

configure:4867: checking for XRRSetScreenConfigAndRate in -lXrandr
configure:4898: cc -o conftest -g -I/home/src/garnome/include
-I/usr/X11R6/include -L/home/src/garnome/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -O2 -pipe
-I/home/src/garnome/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -L/home/src/garnome/lib
-L/usr/X11R6/lib conftest.c -lXrandr -lXrender  -L/usr/X11R6/lib  -lSM
-lICE -lX11    >&5
