Malicious?  They simply don't work.  That doesn't constitute malice.

Please check the list archive, since this has been beat to death.  They
moved the source archives, and this will be addressed in the next
release.

BTW, has anybody bugged the source maintainers asking for them to at
least put links at the old location?
