I'm using mozilla-1.4b with Sun's j2re-1.4.2-beta on RH9 (gcc-3.2.2) and
it works great.

The bitstream vera fonts seem to work fine for me with mozilla-1.4b. ???

I upgraded the xrender and xft in garnome though...so I don't remember
if they worked with the xrender and xft versions that came with
garnome-0.24.2.

I think Jeff, is going to make a new garnome release soon for
gnome-2.3.2 so they should be upgraded then.
