Hrm...I haven't seen any response to this.  Is garnome (ie: GNOME-2.3.x) 
no longer supported on XFree86 versions prior to 4.3.0?

The only previous extutil.h files that I have are those provided by ganome 
in previous versions.

Anxiously waiting to know if I have hit a garnome roadblock...
