If you want an older gnome, you know where to find the
RPMs/debs/tarballs/whatever. GARNOME is a testing release. If you
use it day to day, you do not get the luxury of someone lulling you
with platitudes about how stable it is. You're likely to spur a lot
of anecdotal jibbajabba about "I USE 86.7.53-09 AND IT HAS BEEN UP FOR
THREE MONTHS FINE THX" which is full of words and numbers and
signifies nothing.
