garnome-0.20.0: gnome-terminal compile problem

Hi
my RH7.3 fails to compile the gnome-terminal provided with the garnome
0.20.0:

this is the error message:

encoding.c: In function `update_active_encodings_from_string_list':

what's the problem?

(if someone have yet reported the problem and the solution, please
repost it since I don't have that mail here)
