Maybe we can add to GARNOME a way to download a list of possible sites a file can be downloaded from that can by dynamic.  This mirror list could be hosted by GARNOME itself and would allow Jeff (or somebody) to easily change it if a file moves to a different location.  Then whenever someone tries to build GARNOME, the first thing it would do is download the most up-to-date mirror list, and then proceed with downloading/building the rest.

This would save from having to mirror "lost" files, as long as the file could still be found somewhere.

Just an idea...

Pfft. Nutballs. I'll see what I can do for the next release (I have a copy
of all the tarballs here anyway, so I might just mirror some of them).
