I'm getting a weird compile problem with gnome-terminal.
Garnome-0.21.0 built without a problem. Well done Jeff.
I then went to upgrade gnome-terminal to the latest release 2.2.1 (2.2.0
comes with garnome) Unfortunately I get the following error (which I've
got before with garnome-0.20.0):
-- /home/rodd/garnome/lib/libXft.so.2: undefined reference to `XRenderQuerySubpixelOrder'
I then tried to compile gnome-terminal-2.2.0 again (which had already
compiled fine with the install of garnome-0.21.0 and it fails with the
same error message. Weird.
Any suggestions? I'm at a loss.

"They disembarked in 45
And no one spoke and no one smiled
There were too many spaces in the line
Gathered at the cenotaph
All agreed with hand on heart
To sheath the sacrificial knives
"But now...
"She stands upon Southampton Dock
With her handkerchief
And her summer frock clings
To her wet body in the rain
In quiet desperation knuckles
White upon the slippery reins
She bravely waves the boys goodbye again"
