Trying to build this on Mandrake 8.2 gives the following error while
building GTK:

checking for XOpenDisplay in -lX11... no
configure: error: *** libX11 not found. Check 'config.log' for more
details.

I don't *think* I need to build anything in bootstrap since my X already
seems to include XOpenDisplay:

$ grep XOpenDisplay /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so
Binary file /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so matches

Any ideas?
