evolution 1.4.5 and gal 1.99.10

hello everybody,

i've just finished installing gnome 2.5 with garnome 0.28.2. worked fine, except
for the docbbok-xml. anyway now i tried to compile evolution 1.4.5, and it
failed during the compilation of gal 1.99.10.

... i tried to compile gal with 'make install' in the gal directory, to no
avail. does anybody have an idea what i should do to fix that ?
