how to download in advance?

Hello,

Very new to garnome I would like to install it on my home-pc. I have,
however, no fast internet
connection at home. Therefore I would like to download the packages
somewhere else and copy
them on to my home-pc and install from there. There is an option for this 
in gar.conf.mk .
Now for my question: How do I know what packages to download? Or even
better, is there a 
way to automate this download?
While in the mailing-list I found some mailings of people who had done
this. I could however not
find an anwser to my question.
