Re: fonts look like crud in 0.23.1



I should clarify a little more.

It's not so much that there are no fonts installed, it's that all the fonts look the same. If you'll notice in the screen shot, I have "Sans" chosen as my font - yet all the fonts on the screen are serif (and the terminal is particularly bad).

I'm running Debian 3.0 on an Apple G4 (so it's debian-ppc)

Garnome 0.22.0 had no font problems like this, which is weird, and I have a whole ton of fonts installed under /usr/share/fonts and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/

Drop fonts into ~/.fonts/ to install. (Or use fonts:// in Nautilus.)
