1/ Because I prefer to test for Gnome, than test for Redhat (and as you
suggest, RH9 doesn't really need testing at this stage).
2/ Because I'd like to get a stable version of Garnome built, before the
2.3.0 branch arrives with it's 'niggles' ;-]

Sure, I thought I was. Everyone in OS says YMMV, and use at own risk,
but when you attempt to educate yourself before diving in, they just say
give it a try. ;-]
