Just walks the dir tree and installs.

Well looks like you do the install as root, as Jeff would say: "DON'T DO
THAT"
Second do a `df -h` since root is under / and not /home you might have a
full partition, if you have a standard installation.
Third if you are just changing between su and user check all permissions
and owner of ALL files/dirs.
4th use make -d for debugging info from make.
