I executed the command cut 'n' pasted from Ronald's post as a normal
user:

[jwilliams ou092011 Book]$ scrollkeeper-update -o ~/garnome/share/omf/
/var/lib/scrollkeeper/scrollkeeper_docs: Permission denied

Then su'ed and executed
[root ou092011 Book]# scrollkeeper-update -o
/home/jwilliams/garnome/share/omf/

(one line, evo is wrapping it)

which produced no error messages.  (Actually the first time I did that I
got a message about non UTF-8 encoding in file-roller-ru.xml, so I moved
that file out of the way and re-tried.)

It's no big deal for me, I can wait until the next release when it's
fixed :-)  I just thought you'd like to know.  

There is no bugzilla for garnome is there?  (I know there is one for
Gnome2.)
