Garnome seems to work fine when compiled with gcc 3.x, I use 3.1 myself. Problems will arise when you compile c++-programs which use libraries compiled with an earlier version of gcc. There were even some c++ ABI changes from 3.1 to 3.2. But gnome is written in C so this won't cause any problems. -A. ma, 02-09-2002 kello 20:42, Idan Gazit kirjoitti: > Hey everybody, > > I've been working with gcc 2.95.3 since, well, since I compiled my distro. > > I'm curious to hear what people have to say about gcc 3.2 and "the > switch" -- are there problem compiling different things with gcc 3.2? > Any inherent problems with the 3.x series?
