Debian-friendly Garnome

Hi,

In your Debian-friendly Garnome patches you mentioned paths which need
to be extended for the dual location of GNOME2.

Specifically
 BONOBO_ACTIVATION_PATH=/usr/lib/bonobo/servers
 DESKTOP_FILE_PATH
 GNOME2_PATH
 GNOME_PATH
 GNOME_VFS_MODULE_CONFIG_PATH
 GNOME_VFS_MODULE_PATH
 GNUMERIC_PLUGIN_PATH
 GTK_PATH
 LIBGLADE_MODULE_PATH
 ORBIT_TYPELIB_PATH
 PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig/

I have been talking to people on desktop-devel about this and the
conclusion is that GNOME2_PATH should be enough for most program (except
pkg-config), and any tools which do not respect it either need to have a
good excuse, or have a bug.

My .xsession contains the following variables:
* PATH
* LD_LIBRARY_PATH
* GNOME2_PATH
* PKG_CONFIG_PATH

And everything appears to work fine. The only problem I have is that the
Applications menus are generated from /usr/share/gnome... and do not
include the garnome installed applications. It looks like a manual edit
of the vfolder query is required here.

Regards,
Ross
