OK... I hope someone can help. I'm getting close to a actual install here.
I got the 'ol libglade-convert error message. So I followed the faq on the
web site and installed PyXML-0.7. An here is how I did that.
python setup.py build && python setup.py build.
I then rebooted my computer and started the make install from
my home directory and got the same error. I'm using Gentoo
Linux and made sure all the dependencies are installed( or I think so).
The actuall error message is as follows:
checking for libglade-convert... no
configure: error: libglade-convert (from libglade 2.0) is needed to
build gnome-terminal.
make[1] *** [configure-work/gnome-terminal-1.9.5] Error 1
make[1] Leaving directory '/home/paule/garnome-0.9.8/gnome/gnome-terminal'
make: *** [dep-../../gnome/gnome-terminal] Error 2
Any Ideas ? What did I miss ? is there any other faq's I can view ? Is
this error covered
in a pervious email ? And if so, is it on the website somewhere ?
Thanks for the help.
