KDE

Hi all,

I managed to get KDE compiled. What do I do now to get it running?

I found a startkde command in /root/garnome/bin and ran it. I got:

xsetroot:  unable to open display ''
xset:  unable to open display ""
DCOPServer up and running.
kwin: cannot connect to X server 
kpersonalizer: cannot connect to X server  (multiple times)

Please tell me what I can do to get over this. I log in and xdm starts
twm by default... Neither does kdm start nor does kde.
