Then again, I have zero problems with KDE, and TONS with Gnome2, so :P
I dunno, I just don't like it.. It's not stable, It causes a LOT more load on
my system than 1.4 ever did, than kde3 does.. I'm just not too impressed with
it.
Then again, that's my opinion, and you've got yours.. I'm not saying I'm right
or you're wrong, but I know what it does on my server. With 130+m of custom
imported fonts (adobe), it takes FOREVER to get Gnome started up.
Then we have the fact that there's almost ZERO apps built for Gnome2 right
now, everything's still working with 1.4.. In time I'm sure it'll clean up,
but for now, I'm happy with KDE3. At least KDE apps remain (reasonably)
stable and up to date, and I can (generally) use an app developed for kde2 or
kde with 3.. It's just harder to do with Gnome, though I'm sure that it can
be done
